For families

Practical help for busy families

Work, school runs, practices, appointments: the household tasks are usually what slips. Momsity lets you hand off the jobs around family life to a MOM nearby, so the time you do have goes to your family.

To be clear, Momsity doesn't offer babysitting or childcare. MOMs help with the house, the errands, and the logistics, not with watching kids.

What families hand off

  • The weekly laundry mountain, washed, folded, and put away
  • A weekly tidy-up or deeper clean of the kitchen and bathrooms
  • Meal prep for the week ahead
  • Returns, package drop-offs, and pickups
  • Dog walks and pet visits on long days
  • Setup, serving, and cleanup for birthday parties and gatherings
  • Sorting outgrown clothes and toys, and dropping off donations
  • Being home for a delivery or repair visit during work hours

Why a marketplace instead of a service company

On Momsity, MOMs nearby offer on your Task and you choose who to work with. You see the total before you pay, payment is held until you confirm the work is done, and messages stay attached to the Task.

MOMs are independent. They pick the Tasks that fit their schedules, so coverage depends on who's nearby, and it grows as more MOMs join in your area.

Help for a family member somewhere else

Families are spread out. You can post a Task for a parent, a student away at college, or a friend with a new baby in another city, and a MOM near them can help.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Post a Task

Choose the service, the ZIP where help is needed, and when it should happen, then describe the details. The exact address stays private until a MOM is authorized for that Task.

  2. Step 2

    Nearby MOMs offer

MOMs whose services and area fit can be notified and can offer on your Task. Not every area has a MOM available yet, so timing and coverage depend on who is nearby.

  3. Step 3

    Choose and pay on Momsity

Compare who offered, choose your MOM, and pay through Momsity checkout. You see the total before you pay.

  4. Step 4

    Coordinate in Task messages

Your MOM accepts and gets the details they need. Messages stay on the Task so the history and support stay together.

  5. Step 5

    Confirm when it is done

Your MOM marks the Task complete and you confirm. Payment is held until you confirm, or released automatically 72 hours after completion if you don't open a review.

Common questions

Can a MOM watch my kids while they're at our house?
No. Babysitting and childcare aren't offered on Momsity, and MOMs can't be responsible for children during a Task.
Can I post several things in one Task?
Yes, as long as they're clearly described, like laundry plus a pantry clean-out. Clear scope helps MOMs decide whether to offer.
Is there a membership fee?
No subscription is needed to post or browse. You pay at checkout for the Task you choose.
