Momsity

Privacy Policy

Effective October 2, 2026. This policy explains what personal information Momsity collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

1. Who this policy covers

Momsity™ is a DBA of Ryan Lenhart LLC (“Momsity,” “we,” “us”). This policy applies to momsity.com, our apps, and related services (the “Platform”). It is part of our Terms of Use. The Platform is only for people 18 and older.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us:

  • account details such as name, email, phone number, password or Google sign-in, and account type (Member or Mom);
  • profile details such as display name, bio, photo, services offered, service area, and ZIP code;
  • Task details such as descriptions, timing, ZIP code, address and access details you choose to share, and optional context like a student's college;
  • messages, reviews, reports, and support requests;
  • agreement acceptances, including the time, version, IP address, and browser information at acceptance.

Payment information: card payments are processed by Stripe. Momsity does not store full card numbers. We keep payment status, amounts, and identifiers that link a payment to a Task. Moms provide identity, tax, and bank details directly to Stripe Connect to receive payouts; we receive account status and limited details from Stripe.

Information collected automatically: server and security logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps) and first-party product events (such as “Task posted” or “Task confirmed”). Our product events are designed to exclude message text, email addresses, phone numbers, and street addresses.

Site analytics: on our public pages (not inside signed-in accounts), we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, how visitors found us, device and browser type, and approximate location. Clarity masks text that people type into forms. We use this only to improve the site, not for advertising.

3. How we use information

  • to create and secure accounts and verify sign-in;
  • to match Tasks with nearby, eligible Moms and show approximate distance;
  • to process payments, hold funds until a Task is confirmed, release payouts, issue refunds, and prevent chargeback abuse;
  • to send Task updates, receipts, and account notices by email and in the app;
  • to provide support and resolve reviews and disputes;
  • to keep the Platform safe, including fraud detection, moderation, and enforcing our Terms;
  • to understand and improve how the Platform works; and
  • to comply with law, respond to legal requests, and protect the rights and safety of users, Momsity, and the public.

4. Location privacy

Moms who are not assigned to a Task see only the city, state, general area, and approximate distance. Exact street addresses, pinpoints, access codes, and similar entry details are released by our servers only to the Mom assigned to the Task when the Task workflow allows it. Task data is not published as a public directory.

5. Messages and automated moderation

Task messages may be screened by automated rules and by an AI classification service (OpenAI) before delivery, to protect privacy, block attempts to move payments off the Platform, and detect safety risks. Message contents are not used for advertising and are not sold. Authorized Momsity staff may review messages and moderation records when needed for safety, support, disputes, or legal compliance. Message screening alone never decides refunds, payouts, or account removal.

Automated decisions. Momsity uses automated, rules-based decisions for some routine operations: deciding routine Task reviews, issuing the resulting refunds, paying earned promotional bonuses, cancelling unpaid Tasks whose date has passed, and approving services once required credentials are approved. These rules use Task, payment-status, review, proof-of-completion, and credential records (never card numbers or tax details). Each decision is logged with its reasons, the people affected are told by email, and either party can ask for a human review of a review decision within 14 days. Safety, damage, fraud, chargebacks, and larger amounts always go to a person, and automated tools never suspend or ban an account on their own.

6. How we share information

We share personal information only as described here:

  • Between users: Members and Moms see the information needed to complete a Task, such as names, profile details, reviews, approximate location, and, for an assigned Mom, the Task address.
  • Service providers that process data on our behalf: Stripe (payments and payouts), Supabase (database and authentication), Netlify (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Google (optional sign-in), OpenAI (message classification), and Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (site analytics on public pages). They may use data only to provide their services to us and under their own privacy terms.
  • Legal and safety: when we believe in good faith it is required by law, legal process, or a government request, or needed to protect the safety, rights, or property of any person or of Momsity, or to investigate fraud or a violation of our Terms.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use third-party advertising or advertising pixels on the Platform.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage that are necessary to sign you in, keep your session secure, and remember basic preferences. On our public pages, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity also use first-party analytics cookies to measure site usage, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies. Because we do not track you across other sites, we do not respond differently to “Do Not Track” signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control as a request not to sell or share, which we already do not do.

8. Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform. After that, we keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, such as resolving disputes, preventing fraud, enforcing our agreements, and meeting legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Payment, payout, refund, ledger, and audit records are kept for financial and legal compliance. Certain moderation records are deleted automatically after their retention period ends.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, database access controls, and restricted staff access. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or stored on the Platform. Keep your password private and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

10. Your choices and rights

You can review and update much of your information in your account settings, and you can opt out of non-essential emails. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and to appeal our decision on a request. To make a request, email help@momsity.com from your account email. We will verify your request before acting on it and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authority. Some information may be kept where the law allows or requires, such as payment records or information needed to resolve a dispute.

11. Children

The Platform is not directed to and may not be used by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a minor has created an account or provided personal information, contact help@momsity.com and we will take appropriate steps, including deleting the information. A Member who arranges a Task for a student or other person is responsible for having authority to share that person's information.

12. Where we process data

Momsity is based in the United States and processes information in the United States. The Platform is intended for users in the United States.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email, in the app, or by posting a notice before the changes take effect. The effective date above shows when the policy was last updated.
