Momsity is a local marketplace where people post everyday Tasks and MOMs nearby choose the ones they want to do. It isn't a job with set shifts. It's a way to take paid, in-person work around your own schedule, in your own area.
There are no minimum hours and you're never required to take a Task. You decide what to offer on, when, and how far you'll go.
What is a MOM?
MOMs are people who get things done. Done right. Done safely.
MOMs aren't just mothers. At Momsity, MOM is our name for the people who take on everyday Tasks for Members nearby. MOMs may be mothers, fathers, retirees, students, neighbors, or professionals. What they have in common is that they get things done.
The kind of work on Momsity
- Errands: returns, package drop-offs, pickups
- Laundry and cleaning
- Organizing, decluttering, and donation runs
- Furniture assembly
- Meal prep in a Member's kitchen
- Dog walking and pet sitting
- Yard work and snow shoveling
- Party setup and cleanup
- Waiting at home for deliveries or repairs
- With Momsity approval: rides, moving help, car help, and house sitting
Momsity doesn't offer babysitting or childcare, so none of the work involves watching kids.
Who it fits
On Momsity, MOMs are people who get things done. You don't have to be a mother. It fits people with school-hours availability, people who want a few extra Tasks a week, empty nesters, retirees, and small businesses that already offer cleaning, organizing, or pet care. You need to be 18 or older and able to do the Tasks you offer on safely.
How location works
When you set up your MOM profile, you add your area and a service radius in miles. You see Tasks near you on Browse Tasks, and you may be notified when a Member posts a Task that fits your services and area.
Before you're chosen, you see the general area of a Task, not the exact address. The address is shared once a Member chooses you and pays. Because every Task is in person, how much work you see depends on what's being posted near you.
How offers and payments work
When a Task fits, you make an offer with the payout you're asking for. The Member compares who offered and chooses. Once they've chosen you and paid through Momsity, you accept the Task, coordinate in Task messages, do the work, and mark it complete.
Your payout goes to your bank account through Stripe after the Member confirms, or automatically 72 hours after you mark the Task complete if no review is opened. You never have to collect cash or chase an invoice.
Why join if there's no job near you today?
There may not be a matching task available today. That's okay. Get your MOM profile ready now so you're ready when one appears.
Members choose from MOMs who are already set up, and we only notify MOMs whose services and area fit a new Task. Creating a profile is free, and you're never obligated to take a Task.
Before you join

- If you're qualified for rides, moving, car help, or house sitting, plan to request approval
What we won't promise
Momsity doesn't guarantee income, hours, or a number of Tasks. How much work there is depends on what Members in your area post, and Momsity is still growing. What you earn on a Task is shown before you offer.
As a MOM you're an independent contractor, not an employee. You're responsible for your own taxes, transportation, and any insurance you decide to carry.
How it works for MOMs
Step 1
Create your MOM profile
Join as an individual MOM or a MOM Business. Add your area, the services you want to offer, and a short bio. You must be 18 or older.
Step 2
Finish setup
Accept the Mom Agreement and set up payouts through Stripe. Some services, such as rides, moving, car help, and house sitting, need Momsity approval before you can offer them.
Step 3
Find Tasks near you
Browse Tasks Near You. When a Member posts a Task that fits your services and area, you may also be notified.
Step 4
Offer on what fits
Offer only when the timing, distance, and work suit you. You are never required to take a Task.
Step 5
Complete the Task
After a Member chooses you and pays, accept the Task, get the details, do the work, and mark it complete.
Step 6
Get paid through Stripe
Your payout is released after the Member confirms, or automatically 72 hours after you mark the Task complete if no review is opened.

- Do I need experience?
- Not for most everyday Tasks. Some services, such as rides, moving, car help, and house sitting, need Momsity approval before you can offer them.
- Is there a fee to join?
- There's no fee to create a MOM profile. Momsity's fee is reflected in the payout shown on each Task.
- Is there work near me right now?
- Maybe not today. Tasks depend on what Members near you post. When you have a MOM profile, we notify you when a Task that fits your services and area is posted.
- Can I run my existing small business on Momsity?
- Yes. Choose MOM Business when you join to add a business name, category, and services.
