What home check-in help covers
A home check-in is a short visit while you're away: watering plants, bringing in mail and packages, rolling trash cans to the curb and back, adjusting blinds, and walking through to make sure nothing looks wrong. One visit or a few over a trip.
It's lighter than house sitting. Nobody stays overnight, and the MOM is there for a set list of things. If you want someone living in the house while you're gone, that's house sitting, which only MOMs approved by Momsity can offer.

MOMs whose services and area fit can be notified and can offer on your Task. Not every area has a MOM available yet, so timing and coverage depend on who is nearby.
Step 3
Choose and pay on Momsity
Compare who offered, choose your MOM, and pay through Momsity checkout. You see the total before you pay.
Step 4
Coordinate in Task messages
Your MOM accepts and gets the details they need. Messages stay on the Task so the history and support stay together.
Step 5
Confirm when it is done
Your MOM marks the Task complete and you confirm. Payment is held until you confirm, or released automatically 72 hours after completion if you don't open a review.

- What's the difference between a home check-in and house sitting?
- A check-in is a short visit, once or a few times. House sitting includes overnight or extended stays and is offered only by MOMs approved for it.
- Can a check-in include feeding a pet?
- Yes, if you say so in the Task. For pets that need several visits a day or a lot of care, post a pet sitting Task instead.
- How does payment work?
- You see the total before you pay at Momsity checkout. Payment is held until you confirm the Task is done, or released automatically 72 hours after the MOM marks it complete if you don't open a review.
