Cleaning help for homes and apartments
Whether it's a weekly tidy, a kitchen and bathroom reset, or a move-out clean, post the details and MOMs nearby can offer. Describe the space and what matters most so offers match what you need.

What cleaning help covers
A cleaning Task covers household cleaning you describe: a kitchen and bathroom reset, a tidy before guests, a fridge clean-out, or an empty-apartment clean before you hand back the keys.
MOMs are independent. Some clean professionally and many don't, which is why the details matter. Say which rooms, what "clean" means to you, and whether supplies are provided.
Who uses it
- Households that need a reset more than a weekly service
- Renters getting ready for a move-out inspection
- Families arranging a clean at a parent's home
- Hosts preparing for guests or an event
What people post
- Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
- Apartment or dorm move-out cleaning
- A tidy-up before guests arrive
- Help after a renovation dust-up (light cleaning only)
- Fridge, oven, and pantry clean-outs
Good to know
- Say whether you'll provide supplies or the MOM should bring them.
- Hazardous cleanup like mold remediation, biohazards, or chemical spills isn't allowed.
What to include in your Task
- Which rooms, and roughly how big the space is
- What matters most, like the inside of the oven or the bathroom grout
- Whether you provide supplies or the MOM brings them
- Pets, allergies, or products to avoid
- Whether you'll be home, and how the MOM gets in
- A time window, plus any hard deadline like a landlord walkthrough
What to expect
- MOMs nearby offer on your Task and you choose who helps.
- Your exact address stays private until you authorize a MOM.
- Walk through the space after the MOM marks it complete, then confirm or open a review.
Helpful guides
Trust and payment
MOMs are independent, so read profiles and reviews from real completed Tasks before you choose. Your exact address stays private until you authorize a MOM, messages stay on the Task, and payment is held until you confirm the work is done. Momsity doesn't guarantee that every Task will get an offer, or that a MOM is available in every area. How trust works

How it works
Step 1
Post a Task
Choose the service, the ZIP where help is needed, and when it should happen, then describe the details. The exact address stays private until a MOM is authorized for that Task.
Step 2
Nearby MOMs offer
MOMs whose services and area fit can be notified and can offer on your Task. Not every area has a MOM available yet, so timing and coverage depend on who is nearby.
Step 3
Choose and pay on Momsity
Compare who offered, choose your MOM, and pay through Momsity checkout. You see the total before you pay.
Step 4
Coordinate in Task messages
Your MOM accepts and gets the details they need. Messages stay on the Task so the history and support stay together.
Step 5
Confirm when it is done
Your MOM marks the Task complete and you confirm. Payment is held until the Task is confirmed. If you don't confirm or open a review, Momsity may confirm it automatically 72 hours after completion when no other issue is open.
Common questions
- Are MOMs professional cleaners?
- Some run cleaning businesses and many don't. MOMs are independent, so read profiles and reviews from real completed Tasks, and be specific about the job.
- How does payment work?
- You see the total before you pay at Momsity checkout. Payment is held until the Task is confirmed — by you, or automatically by Momsity 72 hours after the MOM marks it complete if you don't open a review and no other issue is open.
