What shopping & gift help help covers
A shopping Task is buying things for someone at local stores: picking out a gift, getting party supplies, stocking up on paper goods and cleaning products, or filling a list of dorm and school supplies.
Budget and repayment are the two things to settle first. Put the budget in the Task and agree in messages how the MOM is repaid before anything is bought. Food shopping isn't offered on Momsity.

Step 2
Nearby MOMs offer
MOMs whose services and area fit can be notified and can offer on your Task. Not every area has a MOM available yet, so timing and coverage depend on who is nearby.
Step 3
Choose and pay on Momsity
Compare who offered, choose your MOM, and pay through Momsity checkout. You see the total before you pay.
Step 4
Coordinate in Task messages
Your MOM accepts and gets the details they need. Messages stay on the Task so the history and support stay together.
Step 5
Confirm when it is done
Your MOM marks the Task complete and you confirm. Payment is held until you confirm, or released automatically 72 hours after completion if you don't open a review.

- How do I pay for the items?
- Agree on it in Task messages before the MOM shops, and keep receipts in the conversation so there's a record.
- Can a MOM ship a gift to someone out of town?
- Yes. The MOM can pick it out and drop it at the post office or a shipping store if you agree on it in the Task, including who covers shipping.
- How does payment work?
- You see the total before you pay at Momsity checkout. Payment is held until you confirm the Task is done, or released automatically 72 hours after the MOM marks it complete if you don't open a review.
